Award following record sales

Hydropool specialists The Pool & Spa Company have been celebrating posting record sales results for the second successive year.

In 2012 the family-run dealership, with Theo Mantoura at the helm, registered its best ever results but managed to surpass that feat in 2013 by capitalising on the warm weather and an enhanced showroom. A Platinum Award for Excellence in Customer Service, Sales and Marketing from Canadian manufacturer Hydropool ahead of the spring season has been the icing on the cake for last year’s achievements.

“We were just over 20 per cent up on sales last year compared to our previous best ever year in 2012,” reported Theo.

“The main aspect of our business that we have been concentrating on to gain the success in customer service and sales has been training. You have to know your products and we are also providing our staff with techniques to help them to achieve sales.

“We have also been cutting out the products that are less profitable than our best sellers. Our strong relationship with Golden Coast has also allowed us to enhance our own Pool & Spa Company products branding.”
