Futuristic Wellis models heading for Italy

Wellis is preparing for its latest leg of a European exhibition tour to promote unique features in its new product offerings, including the ‘futuristic’ Dabassy model, during the Piscine Forum Pool & Spa Expo in Italy.

WellisDabassySidePicThe Hungary-based company is flying the flag for European hot tub manufacturers during the three day event, which is running from February 19 to 21 in Bologna, and will give an Italian debut for the newly-launched Dabassy, pictured, and WELLONE models.

Both were showcased for the first time to the British trade and consumer audience during the UK Pool & Spa Expo at the Birmingham NEC; after Wellis attended the international Piscine Global exhibition in Lyon to give the models their official European debut and highlight its growing dealer network and presence in the market.

Coming in at 236 x 236 x 86.6cm with three 3HP massage pumps and seating capacity for five people including two lounge seats, the Dabassy has been dubbed ‘the future of hydrotherapy’ by the Wellis design team at the cutting-edge factory in Dabas, which also claims to be Europe’s favourite spa producer.

Visitors to the Wellis stand at the Birmingham NEC will have noted that the Dabassy has a unique acrylic filter unit and LED lighted engraved corner decoration made of solid surface as part of its futuristic appearance that includes an engraved design around the lighting LED points. It also incorporates innovative design and seat ergonomics and exclusive hand and arm massage capability.

“We had a very good reception for our Dabassy in Lyon during Piscine Global and in Birmingham during the UK Pool & Spa Expo,” said Wellis Export Sales Representative Dora Beres.

“Visitors to our exhibition stands have told us that the Dabassy is like the Lamborghini of the spa world. We are now looking to target the hydrotherapy market with this new model across Europe to extend our presence even further, which grew 50 per cent last year.”

A new touch screen SpaTOUCH system provides the control for the Dabassy’s 72 jets, 68 lighting water jets and 6 VARIO PODS electromagnetic jets, plus a Magamajet footsole massage jet. It also controls the exclusive chromotherapy lighting and Pulsar Massage System.

During its third consecutive appearance at the UK Pool & Spa Expo to build up awareness for its products and its British retailer network, Wellis also promoted a product boost for the HighLine range with the launch of three single occupancy WELLONE options including the Premium, Deluxe and Indoor models that are also being promoted in Bologna.

The diminutive Premium comes in at 200 x 110 x 70cm and has a reclined seat within its PU reinforced acrylic shell that has 2cm thick polyfoam insulation. It has been designed as an indulgent oasis of therapeutic heat, buoyancy and massage with an inclusive MicroSilk Oxygen Therapy System.

Incorporated into the diminutive design are 48 jets, including 10 midi jets and 32 microjets plus six electromagnetic jets. There is also an AQUASOUL 2.1 POP-Up sound system and the manufacturer’s exclusive chromotherapy lighting.

“This is a perfect model for space conscious owners, especially those looking for single occupancy,” said Dora; “It has also been very popular with people visiting our exhibition stands in France and England.

Wellis Export Manager Pal Bihari added: “Now we are the largest manufacturer in Europe and our products are becoming more popular and we are enjoying very high growth in the market.

“We’ve now built up our stock levels to ensure our dealers in the UK and throughout the continent gain a big advantage of being able to get quick deliveries.”

Wellis will be exhibiting at the Forum Piscine Pool & Spa Expo on February 19, 20 and 21 on Stands F59 and E60 in Hall 19.
