Extra SPATEX seminars and workshops

SPATEX organisers have announced that the double seminar schedule for hot tub and wet leisure specialists to boost their product and water treatment knowledge is being taken to the next level during the 22nd edition.

For the next outing of the wet leisure showcase, taking place from Tuesday, January 30, to Thursday, February 1, SPATEX and the Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers (ISPE) have ramped up the training and workshop sessions on the double seminar programme with an additional 16 new titles and an update for some of the most popular topics.

Once again the ISPE Workshop programme for 2018 will be covering all areas of the spa and pool trade, both commercial and domestic; but is gaining a boost for the latest outing at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry to ensure it exceeds the success achieved last time round; as part of a key element of the schedule for visitor’s during their time at one or all three days of SPATEX.

After helping to attract a host of new hot tub and pool product exhibitors for the next edition, SPATEX organiser Michele Bridle is now keen to promote the enhanced and ramped up ISPE programme of training and seminars to prospective trade visitors.

As part of the marketing and promotion for the Workshop programme, Michele has reported that there will also be sessions on new ‘Standards and Guidance’ that affect all in the hot tub and pool trade; as well as a special Pool Water Treatment Advisory Group (PWTAG) day on the third and final day of SPATEX.

“Whether your interest is in water treatment or testing, commercial pool operation, fitting covers, servicing heat pumps, tiling, construction, servicing or maintenance, SPATEX Workshops offer tips, advice and ideas that will improve your knowledge,” said Michele.

While the Workshop programme schedule is running throughout the three days of SPATEX a number of leading hot tub and swim spa manufacturers and distributors who have been experiencing growth in the British market will be highlighting their latest product ranges and opportunities for current and prospective dealers.

These include Spanish hot tub and swim spa manufacturer Aquavia Spa; hot tub and pool product powerhouse Certikin, who supply the Caldera Spas and Fantasy Spas brands from Watkin Wellness, thriving distributor Aqua Warehouse Group, who supply the L.A Spas and Vita Spa hot tubs and swim spas and will be promoting the Aqua Spa Supplies Division; hot tub water treatment product specialist O-Care; and European heavyweight Wellis, who will also have promotion of the Superior Spas range from its Hungary-based manufacturing facility that are supplied to UK dealers by Wellis distributor Rob Carlin.
