Villeroy & Boch exploiting Interbad advantage

New Just Silence model

Villeroy & Boch is exploiting the benefits of ‘home advantage’ at Interbad in Germany this week while highlighting the launch of new unique colour concept options and seating arrangement designs to prospective hot tub retailers.

The iconic brand and 2014 WhatSpa? Best Buy Award winner for the best-selling six-seater Villory & Boch A7L, is showcasing its Wellness at Home range of exclusive hot tub products and features at the four-day showcase, running until Friday. Exhibition staff are targeting dealers to supply the A7L and its high-end range of unique stable mates that are currently being advocated by established UK retailers.

One of the key features of the hot tub brand’s promotional strategies on Stand 8C18 in Hall 8, of the Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, is the exclusive user-friendly and pipework-free JetPaks functionality, featured in the A7L model, which can be removed at the touch of a button.

As well as being manufactured with the new JetPakII technology, including five  JetPaks and a total of 65 jets; the A7L also incorporates iPhone control functionality among its many features that are promoted in the current edition of WhatSpa? Magazine and in official Villeroy & Boch dealer showrooms. These include wet leisure specialist dealership Waterstream, at Handcross Garden Centre, run by award-winning duo Alex Kemsley and Simon Dickson; and Windsor Maidenhead Sauna Pool & Spa Ltd at Squires Garden Centre.

Coming in at 224 x 224 x 91cm with a lounge seat design, the A7L is one of a small number of select hot tubs to achieve the WhatSpa? Best Buy Award in the strongly contested £12,000 Plus price bracket of our sister publication, which features a host of independently selected pedigree models for consumers to consider before adding them to their wet test lists.

Interbad is also being used as the ‘home territory’ launch pad for Villeroy & Boch’s new colour options and unique features for the latest ‘Premium Line Colour Edition’, along with new seating capability arrangements in the ‘Just Silence’ design; which have both been launched ahead of the exhibition.

As well as the high-quality JetPak II technology with the current choice of 16 JetPak options, the Villeroy & Boch team is spearheading the high-profile publicity for the new designs, which are featured in our Products News section. They have increased the German company’s stable of hot tubs and choice options to retailers and their customers, following the previous successful introduction of the ‘Black and White Edition’.

Hot tub retailers visiting the Villeroy & Boch stand this week at Interbad will gain a comprehensive insight into the Premium Line Colour Edition’s product design initiative, which is available as one of the new colour combination versions to help cater for the latest two-colour design trend. These can be combined individually by owners in consultation with Villeroy & Boch’s carefully selected network of professional showroom dealers, to provide a classic hot tub finish; or as a unique individual design for achieving a truly eye-catching presence in their home surroundings.

Villeroy & Boch Global PR Manager Katrin May believes that the new seating design in the ‘Just Silence’ model, providing the capability for five people to be able to sit in front of each other, is perfect for the Interbad audience as it will cater for the specific demand from consumers in the European hot tub market and is another boost for retailers from the pioneering global brand giant that was formed in 1748.

While aiming to enhance its presence on home soil this week, Katrin also revealed that Villeroy & Boch’s Interbad exhibition team is promoting the brand’s unique customisation capabilities and high-quality credentials, which are also scheduled to be highlighted to another large international trade audience during an appearance as an exhibitor at Piscine Global 2014 in Lyon in November.

“Visitors will see our high-quality outdoor hot tubs with unique options for customisation with regard to colours and functions,” said Katrin.

“Only from Villeroy & Boch hot tubs can you individually select the type of jets, colour and shape as well as additional options and accessories to customise your hot tub.

“Another special feature of the new spa model is the arrangement where five people can sit in front of each other.”

Comprehensive details of the Villeroy & Boch Wellness at Home product portfolio are being made available to visitors and prospective retailers during Interbad 2014 this week, from October 21 to 24, on Stand 8C18 in Hall 8; and next month during Piscine Global 2014 in Lyon, France, from November 18 to 21, on Stand 6D85 in Hall 6.
