UK Pool & Spa Expo organisers have ramped up promotional activities for the countdown to the fourth edition of the hot tub and pool exhibition that is being hosted at the Birmingham NEC in November.

UK Pool & Spa Expo Sign PictureMembers of the New Events team behind the UK Pool & Spa Expo’s decision to host two of the trade and consumer showcases in the same year are now pulling out all the stops to gain exhibitor support for stand bookings for the next event, which is commencing on November 22 and running to the Consumer Day on November 24, instead of the previously anticipated schedule for January or February 2016.

They are aiming to build on the success of the third instalment of the exhibition, which included a significant presence by leading hot tub brands including Alps Spas, Artesian Spas, Aspen Spas, Elite Spas, L.A Spas, Marquis, Passion Spas, Softub UK, Viking Spas, Villeroy & Boch, Vita Spa, and Wellis.

A number of manufacturers also showcased models from their WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy Award-winning ranges; including Artesian Spas, L.A Spas, Marquis, and Vita Spas. This year Artesian Spas, for the TidalFit EP-14; L.A Spas, for the In-Fit 13 SL; Marquis, for its ATV (Aquatic Training Vessel) Ultimate; and Vita Spas, for the Vita Spa XSP; have all gained WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy accolades in the 2015 edition of the specialist swim spa consumer publication. The four USA manufacturers also achieved WhatSpa? Best Buy Award recognition for their hot tub models in the latest issue of the magazine.

Artesian Spas gained a hat-trick of WhatSpa? Best Buys for the four-seater South Seas 518P, six-seater Island Antigua 33, and six-seater Dove Canyon; L.A Spas gained a Best Buy accolade for the six-seater Belmar LX; Marquis landed a brace of Best Buys for the four-seater Spirit, and five-seater Ultimate Epic; while Vita Spa gained its sixth successive Best Buy for the five-seater Elegant; and also landed a Best Buy for the best-selling Prestige.

According to UK Pool & Spa Expo Event Director Claire Saunders, the impending fourth edition of the exhibition in the NEC’s Pavilion Hall, which hosted the event’s second outing in 2014, has also been attracting additional major wet leisure companies. These include hot tub and swim spa manufacturer Hydropool, which has gained 2015 WhatSpa? and WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy Award plaudits for the 700 Platinum and AquaTrainer 19 DTFX to add to previous credits in the respective hot tub and swim spa consumer magazines.

The Canadian brand, which attended the first two events as an exhibitor, has taken advantage of the opportunity of an additional outing for the UK Pool & Spa Expo at the NEC in 2015, following the announcement earlier this year that the dates had been moved to come in line with the global diary of wet leisure industry trade shows.

Claire Saunders has revealed that other loyal exhibitors from the past three showcases at the Birmingham NEC are supporting the new date strategy and have welcomed the move to switch to November, which will prevent a clash of two major UK wet leisure events in the West Midlands during the early months of the New Year.

Prices for exhibiting during the fourth edition of the UK Pool & Spa Expo include the Shell Scheme at £220 per sq.m, as well as space only prices of £175 per sq.m for up to 70 sq.m; £160 per sq.m for 71sq.m to 90 sq.m; and £155 per sq.m for 91 sq.m and over. All prices are subject to VAT at 20 per cent.

All exhibitors will receive free in hall lifting, free parking and free wi-fi, plus complimentary use of the private exhibitor lounge. There is free space available in the New Product Zone for exhibitors on a first-come-first-served basis where the necessary criteria has been met.

“The 4th edition is now less than five months away,” said Claire; “The show floor is taking shape, with some of the biggest names in the business supporting the new strategy for UK Pool & Spa Expo, aligning with the global calendar and creating a UK event to provide the whole of the industry with their requirements.”
