Coast Spas joins elite certification group

Innovative hot tub and swim spa manufacturer Coast Spas Manufacturing has been rewarded for its quality commitment by achieving ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS) certification through the world-leading certification company SGS Systems.

Coast Spas, which has been bestowed with a host of WhatSpa? Best Buy Awards and WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy Awards in the various price ranges of the latest editions of the consumer magazines after launching cutting-edge new models this year, is now amongst the elite few hot tub manufacturers to earn this certification.

The Canadian manufacturer first achieved ISO 9001 in December of 2000. Ahead of the latest achievement, the company has invested more than a year preparing for the ISO 9001:2015 QMS registration. This process required pre-audit examinations, complete design documentation, development and manufacturing processes along with support programs, and making sure internal audit processes were predictable and consistent.

“We are pleased to certify Coast Spas Manufacturing upon successful completion of the ISO 9001:2015 audit,” declared Vice President of Certification and Business Enhancement at SGS Canada Phil Speed.

“Achieving this standard demonstrates Coast Spas Manufacturing’s commitment to meeting and exceeding customers’ requirements for quality products.”

Coast Spas Chief Operating Officer Jatinder Sidhu; pictured, left, receiving the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems certification from Western Regional Sales Manager Mohit McLaren; revealed that one of the key motivations for investing so much time and effort in achieving the registration was to help increase customer satisfaction.

“Our motivation to obtain this registration was driven to meet customer needs and to increase customer satisfaction, with an emphasis on continuous improvement,” reported Jatinder.

“As we focus on quality assurance and innovative products, we look forward to bringing our business to new heights.”

The achievement follows the introduction of new models to the market this year; which include the Coast Spas Apex B and Element B designs that now have all new bucket seating to replacing the lounge seating incorporated in the original Apex and Element models that were worldwide best-selling hot tubs in 2017. All Apex and Element Spas are now available with a ‘Curve Upgrade’ that features Coast Spas’ exclusive 24″ waterfall on a raised protective curved back.

Coming in at 234 x 234 x 102cm (120cm at the back), the eight-seater Apex B 82 has made an immediate impact in the British market by gaining an inaugural WhatSpa? Best Buy Award in the £10,000 to £14,999 price category of the 2018 edition of the consumer magazine.

The glowing WhatSpa? Verdict of the Apex B 82 states: ‘If you’re looking for a large family all-seater spa that comes packed to the rafters with jets and tech, the new Coast Spas Apex B 82 takes some beating. The Apex takes envy to a new level of green!’.

Also incorporating the exclusive raised back design, the seven-seater Classic Horizon 40, which comes in at 211 x 234 x 82cm (116cm at the back) and incorporates a lounge seat, has been bestowed with a WhatSpa? Best Buy Award in the £8,000 to £9,999 price category.

Gaining a successive WhatSpa? Best Buy Award, the imposing eight-seater Coast Spas Mirage Curve 82, which incorporates a lounge seat and comes in at 335 x 234 x 102cm (120cm at the back), is once again praised for being a ‘gadget laden spa’ in the £15,000 Plus price category.

Meanwhile, Coast Spas has achieved WhatSpa? honours for models from its specialist Regency Spas stable,. The five-seater Regency Spas Baron, which incorporates a lounge seat and comes in at 195 x 195 x 76cm, has gained a Best Buy Award in the sub-£5,999 price category; the six-seater Regency Spas Grand Duchess 50, which also incorporates a lounge seat and comes in at 184 x 206 x 76cm, has gained a Best Buy Award in the £6,000 to £7,999 price bracket; and the six-seater Regency Spas Prince 50, which comes in at 207 x 207 x 92cm, has been bestowed with a Best Buy accolade in the £8,000 to £9,999 price range.

Coast Spas has also gained triple Best Buy Award honours in the 2018 edition of WhatSwimSpa? for the Regency Spas Empress, which comes in at 3.84 x 2.29 x 1.35m, and the Coast Spas Wellness II Lounger, which comes in at 2.84 x 2.29 x 1.35m; both in in the sub-£19,999 price range; as well as a Best Buy Award accolade for the Coast Spas Wellness Infinity Ultra, which comes in at 5.25 x 2.25 x 1.35m, in the £20,000 to £29,999 price category.
