Superior Spas singled out twice

Thriving Derbyshire-based hot tub and swim spa distributor Superior Spas has been singled out for excellence in their niche with two separate 2019 award nominations that highlight the business impact of the family-run company.

Tomorrow, June 5, will see the finals of the Derby Telegraph Business Awards, where Superior Spas Managing Director Rob Carlin is a nominee in the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ category. The annual award ceremony celebrates the successes of businessmen and women, recognising innovation, drive and passion in their niche, whilst making a positive contribution to the local community.

“I’m humbled and thrilled to have received this nomination,” said Rob ahead of the ceremony.

“Although I’ve been named in the nomination, this is really a recognition of the team’s success. Everybody at Superior Spas has an important part to play and our success is down to everybody committing to delivering an outstanding service.”

In addition to the Derby Telegraph Business Awards nomination, Superior Spas has also been recognised for excellence at a national level, after receiving a nomination for the tenth edition of the National Family Business Awards; which were launched to showcase the very best of family-owned businesses across the UK.

“It’s a fantastic achievement to be nominated as a national finalist in the Family Business Awards,” declared Superior Spas Marketing Director Rob White.

“All of the Superior Spas family love what they do and are passionate about helping our customers achieve total relaxation with the products we provide.”

Having launched in 2011, Superior Spas has achieved success through its hot tub and swim spa dealer network in the domestic market with WhatSpa? Best Buy Award and WhatSwimSpa? Best Buy Award-winning models, while rapidly becoming a leading supplier and distributor of high-quality wet leisure products.

Providing an extensive range to over 100 hot tub specialist companies across the UK and Europe, the brand has seen consistent growth and success; which has facilitated the recent construction of a new state-of-the-art distribution facility in Derbyshire, designed to providing brand expansion; whilst also creating local jobs.

Coupled with the new distribution centre in Chesterfield, a radical growth strategy will see the rapidly expanding outfit become one of the largest spa and hot tub firms in the global market following the transition to its new state-of-the-art 400,000 sq ft factory in HuBei, China.

Over the course of the next 12 months, Superior Spas products are being moved from the current USA-based manufacturer to the new factory facility; while the full range of Platinum Spas and swim spas will also be taken in-house.
